
Sasha Spencer-Atwood
Class of 1997
Sasha Spencer-Atwood (Class of 1997) is a native Oregonian two-time hall of fame inductee at North Salem for track. Following graduation from North, Sasha earned her degree from Georgetown University where she was a 9-time NCAA All-American in track and field and inducted as a member of Georgetown’s 2020 Hall of Fame class.
Prior to hosting world class track and field meets at University of Oregon, Sasha was competing in them as an 800m specialist for Nike for 8 years. Sasha also works as a track & field event broadcaster, podcast host, and public speaker. She is currently the Athlete and Team Experience Director for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22. During her time in TrackTown she was instrumental in the delivery of the 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships, the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships and multiple national championships including the USATF Indoor and Outdoor Championships, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
